Why need rebuild?
1. AI Age — AI assistants and agents are the new discovery layer. Legacy sites aren't machine-readable, so they're invisible in AI answers.
2. Performance — Slow, self-hosted servers fail Core Web Vitals. That means lower rankings, lower conversion, higher cost.
3. Security — Unpatched legacy stacks + manual ops = exposed to breaches, fines, and AI-powered attacks.
4. Maintainability — Old code, hard backend, no docs, key-person dependency. Every change is slow, risky, and expensive.

The goal isn't just a prettier website.
It's to give both the client and visitors a genuinely good experience from the moment they land on the site.
GCC is a church — events are constant. Services, gatherings, program, special occasions — there's always something happening.
But on the current site, events are hard to find and easy to miss.
-
No clear event section on the landing page.
-
Visitors have to dig through pages to figure out what's on.
-
Past events aren't connected to upcoming ones — everything feels static.
-
The result: people miss events they would have attended.
The fix — automatic event flow:
-
Landing page shows current and upcoming events at a glance.
-
Events page lists everything — upcoming and past — in one place.
-
Auto-sync between them: add an event once, and it appears everywhere it should.
-
Past events stay visible (photos, recaps, sermons), building trust and showing GCC is active.
A church always has something happening — the website should make that obvious, automatically.
